LAUNDRY TIME
In a nearly empty laundromat late at night, exes Oscar and Maja unexpectedly reunite after two years. Petty squabbles over machines spiral into playful sabotage, reigniting old chemistry. Between flickering lights, spinning drums, and a sudden blackout, they confront tension, humor, and lingering feelings that never truly washed away.
Director Statement: This film was born from a simple desire: to show people of color in Sweden in moments that are light, messy, funny, and deeply human. Too often our stories are framed through struggle or explanation. Here, I wanted to focus on joy, flirtation, pettiness, and unresolved emotions and the universal chaos of running into an ex at the worst possible time.
